Reghiu (Comuna Reghiu)
Reghiu is a commune located in Vrancea County, Romania. It is composed of eight villages: Farcaș, Jgheaburi, Piscu Reghiului, Răiuți, Reghiu, Șindrilari, Ursoaia, and Valea Milcovului.
The commune is located in the central-west part of the county, 32 km from the county seat, Focșani, in a hilly area at the foot of the Curvature Carpathians. It lies on the banks of the Milcov River, the traditional boundary between Wallachia and Moldavia; the Reghiu River flows into the Milcov in the village Reghiu. It is crossed by the national road DN2M, which connects it to the south with Andreiașu de Jos and Nereju, and to the east with Mera, Broșteni, Odobești, and Focșani (where it ends in DN2D).
